BakBeat started by making iPod sync feel good again. The larger goal is keeping dedicated music hardware usable: iPod, Walkman, MiniDisc, USB players, and preservation-oriented workflows.

Support is listed from shipped device profiles in the app — real hardware testing and documented behavior, not a marketing checklist. Experimental profiles stay out until they are ready.
