Device Improvements
- iPod video compatibility now follows a quality ladder: compatible lower-resolution prepared versions can be reused, while BakBeat prefers converting from a better source when one is available.
- BakBeat now warns before sending a lower-quality prepared video to an iPod when a higher-quality version could be created.
- Connected-device video readiness now reflects whether an existing prepared version can actually play on that device.
- Improved iPod classic identity and connection handling
- Improved eject behavior for mounted iPods and other players, including keeping a device connected in BakBeat when its volume is still busy.
- Improved multi-item iPod and Zune operations by keeping one device session open for the full action instead of repeatedly reopening the device.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed imports that could finish without cataloging files already present at the selected destination.
- Fixed library file resolution on Macs sharing the same BakBeat library so each Mac uses its own assigned media folders instead of paths stored by another computer.
- Improved large imports by committing the completed catalog pass in one BakBeatLibrary.bbl save.
- Fixed Add to Device success messages so they report the number of tracks actually added rather than total catalog counts.
- Fixed podcast sync controls appearing for devices that do not support podcasts.
